Syrian Soul Catering was born from a legacy. A branch of our family’s beloved business, Exotic Bakeries, which proudly served the Ann Arbor community for over 33 years, Syrian Soul carries forward a deep tradition of home-cooked Syrian cuisine and handcrafted French and Middle Eastern pastries.
Rooted in family recipes and generations of culinary craftsmanship, our food tells a story of culture, hospitality, and heart. After traveling south for my education, I became immersed in the rich flavors and traditions of Southern cuisine—an experience that inspired the evolution of our menu. The result is a unique fusion where soulful comfort food meets bold Middle Eastern flavors.
At Syrian Soul, we proudly serve halal meats, prioritize quality and integrity in every dish, and are committed to supporting the local economy by partnering with local farmers and suppliers whenever possible.
